Theme: masterplan of the planet
The author considers one of the central environmental problems of the 21st century, namely the growth of carbon dioxide emissions. The main reason given is the irrational culture of food consumption and production. The increase in agricultural land and the number of livestock that emit carbon dioxide, as well as the destruction of fertile soil during the planting process, are direct evidence of the environmental crisis. As a solution, the author developed the concept of ‘‘PLAST’’. It based on the close integration of the agrarian module into the structure of the modern metropolis. The main feature is a principle of layering "functional layers" that structure the space and create a multi-level system of fluid spaces. PLAST surrounds the planet and concentrates all the necessary functions for agricultural production, thus releasing the territory under wildlife and ecological reorganization. Its space consists of three main levels: production, residential and agricultural.
