Theme: fire station
The design of a Class 4 fire station is a place of refuge for the "Guardians" of fire, who extinguish it in dangerous situations and ignite it in the pure hearts of people.
This building has two remarkable characteristics.
Firstly, it combines architecture and nature. Located in Kamchatka, a region of Russia known for its sensitivity to the environment, the station was designed on the border between the city and the forest. This creates a path of purification and enlightenment, connecting urban and natural structures.
A technique known as "architectural embraces" is used to draw every passerby into the building and guide them through it along a designated trajectory.
Secondly, the architecture is mobile. By using stackable blocks, the fire station becomes more adaptable, able to respond to the events and experiences of people in the world. The stress factors caused by natural and technological disasters, the need for training to manage them, and other challenges can be addressed by expanding the building to include new functions.
This architectural solution can be described as a "Churning Heart," as it beats in unison with the voices of those who must be protected and saved from any danger or catastrophe, much like the heart of a "Guardian".
